Who we are

This website is run by Front of House Marketing, a hospitality marketing agency, company number 17526265, registered in England and Wales. We are the controller of the personal information described here, which means we decide how it is used.

For anything about your data, contact us at info@frontofhousemarketing.co.uk or on 07956 508425.

What we collect

When you send an enquiry through the form on our homepage or contact page, we collect:

  • your name, and your role if you give it
  • your venue's name and type
  • your email address, and your phone number and website if you give them
  • the service you're interested in, and your monthly budget if you choose one
  • your message, and which page you sent it from

When you email or call us, we keep the correspondence and any details you give us in it.

When you visit the site, the services that deliver it receive technical information your browser sends automatically, such as your IP address, browser type and the page you asked for. See "Who else handles your data" below.

Please don't send us sensitive information, such as health details. We don't need it.

How we use it, and why we're allowed to

  • To reply to your enquiry and talk to you about working together. You've asked us to take this step before entering a contract with us.
  • To keep a record of our conversations and run our business. This is in our legitimate interests, and we keep it to what we reasonably need.
  • To deliver the website and keep it secure. This is in our legitimate interests in running a working, safe website.

We don't add you to a mailing list, we don't sell your information, and we don't use it to make automated decisions about you.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not set cookies and does not use analytics or advertising trackers. If that changes, we'll update this policy and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

Who else handles your data

We use a small number of service providers, who handle data on our behalf or to deliver the site:

  • Formspree (Formspree, Inc., United States) receives and stores enquiry form submissions and forwards them to us by email. See Formspree's privacy policy.
  • Google Fonts (Google) supplies the typefaces this site uses. Your browser requests them from Google's servers, which receive your IP address. See Google's privacy policy.
  • Unsplash serves some of the photographs on this site. Your browser requests them from Unsplash's servers, which receive your IP address. See Unsplash's privacy policy.
  • IONOS (IONOS Cloud Ltd) hosts the site, delivers it to your browser and keeps short-term server logs of requests for security and troubleshooting. See IONOS's privacy policy.
  • Our email provider stores the enquiries and emails we receive.

Some of these providers are based in, or store data in, the United States, so your information may be transferred outside the UK. Each provider explains in its own privacy policy how it protects data it transfers.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that don't lead to work: up to two years after our last contact, then deleted.
  • If we work together: for as long as the work lasts, then for six years for tax and legal record-keeping.

You can ask us to delete your enquiry sooner.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:

  • give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you
  • correct anything that's wrong or incomplete
  • delete your information
  • restrict how we use it, or object to us using it
  • give you your information in a portable format

Email info@frontofhousemarketing.co.uk to make a request. It's free, and we'll reply within one month.

Complaints

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we use personal information, we'll update this page and the date at the top of it.
